An action game to dodge chain reaction particles, at the same time you have to create your own chain. You can also try to defeat all the achievements (listed on the “Marks” page), and each achievement represents a character from anime or movies. Can you guess who they are?

Although you can play it in browser, I still recommend downloading the desktop version as it will provide a smoother gaming experience. It also automatically captures the final score screen when you break a high score during gameplay. Since this game may require some speed and precise control, using the keyboard for control can indeed be challenging. The most recommended way to play is using the mouse in conjunction with the Shift key. BTW, you can adjust the control sensitivity on the settings (Variables) page.

This game is a free (freedom, not free beer: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html ) and open source project ( https://github.com/sibevin/chain-reaction ), developed using the bevy ( https://bevyengine.org/ ) game engine. Any suggestions and improvements are welcome.

pretty cool dodge-em up game. The rules seemed a bit confusing but I managed fine by just avoiding the grey stuff and going for the colorful shapes (except red). I like it. The aesthetics are nice too. Are the reactions actually based on chemistry?

Actually, it is just the theme of the game, and it has nothing to do with the real experiment. Particle collisions will make their directions and speeds change randomly, rather than real physical collisions.

I once wanted to try to reproduce the real collision, but as the number of particles increased, the amount of calculation required also became larger and larger. This caused the game to be unable to run smoothly, and in the end I had to give up the plan. 😕

Played with mouse (sensy of 10).
Had fun! (Tutorial is scary af :D)

This is much better than most bullet hells I've seen.

Pretty fun, simplistic and chaotic arcade action, no real notes other than:
-the speed things get chaotic at (is fast), which is subjective.
-The formula (tutorial), is incredibly complex for something that's pretty simple

Overall seems pretty fun.

Best of luck, cheers!
